Ager (Agri-food and research) is a project of collaboration between Foundations of banking origin united to promote and support scientific research in Italian agro-food.
Ager puts Italian products of excellence at the center of research, focusing on improving processes and developing cutting-edge technologies.
All this to strengthen the leadership of Italian agro-food, preserving the delicate balance between production yields and environmental sustainability of agricultural supply chains.
Ager’s primary objective is to bring knowledge and innovation into a sector that is the basis of nutrition and life.
Ager is supporting the project COMPETiTiVE
COMPETITIVE, an interdisciplinary project aimed to improve the quantity, quality and inherent value of Italian extra virgin olive oil in the short-term with a fast return on investment, was born thanks to the collaboration of scientists, economists and representatives of the production chain that will present the preliminary results of the research during a session of the workshop dealing with the extraction technology of virgin olive oil .
